Chistmas was jsut wonderful. My sisters came jumping on my bed at four in the morning. That was way to early, but knowing they wouldn't go back to bed due to all of the excitement we all got up to see if santa had visited us this year. He did and we all had a wonderful morning unwrapping all of our gifts.
Ausin's family was so nice to let me go over to their house and talk to Elder Gleed with them. It was so good to hear from him and he seems to be doing great :) I sure miss that kid. I am so thankful for his wonderful family!

Today was a great;

started it off with some good old christmas movies,

then made some reindeer food with my lovely sisters while parents got the last minute shopping done,

went with the Gleed's to see A Christmas Carol,

and ended it with a party with the old friends, it was nice to catch up :)

Yes, this would be my wonderful roommates and I in vegas with Zach Galifianakis (not really, but this guy totally looks like Allan.) This was probaby one of the best weekends of my college life so far. I became so close to these ladies. These girls make my day, every day. There is never a dull moment, and when we get together anything can happen from slumber parties in the living room to spontanious trips to dixie rock. I am so blessed to have such wonderful roommates and friends.

I miss him so much, he is by far my best friend in the whole world. After not getting a letter for three weeks, I've realized how much I really do love him. Keep working hard Elder Gleed. You're amazing.

Since i haven't blogged in like forever, I am just going to quite doing the 30 day challege. I'll pick it back up later, but i would like to update you all on the college life. i am LOVING it! it is so much fun. i have quite a bit of homework and I spend a lot of time at the doctor's office for my externship but I must say, I do have a decent amount of free time. my roommates are so much fun! they are all so cute and we get along so well. There are six of us (Rhianna, Jhena, Amanda, Justie Alexi, and I) We have already made so many great memories including;

My mom is my very best friend, she is always there for me and she has done so much for me. I look up to her so much. I hope that one day when I am a wife and mother I can be like her. She has such a sweet spirit and she really cares for me and my problems. She always listens to what I have to say and gives me such wonderful advice. I love my sister Brinnley with all of my heart. Even though she is only two years old, she is my best friend. She is always making me laugh and we always have the best little conversations.

fourth of july.

I love this holiday. I am so thankful for the land that I live in and for the freedom that I have. I am also so thankful for all of the soldiers that continue to fight for our freedom. I want to thank them for all of the sacrifices that they go through for me. They are incredible people.

summer.

These past few weeks have been crazy. Austin left two and a half weeks ago, I can't believe it. I don't know how to describe how the time has passed by. It seems like it was just yesterday when he left but through his letters I can already tell that he has learned so much and his testimony has grown immensely. It was very difficult to say goodbye to my bestfriend but I know that he is where he is supposed to be and his Heavenly Father is so proud of the decision he has made to serve him.
I just started my Medical Assisting Internship at the Utah Valley Pediactrics office in Saratoga Springs last week and I absolutely LOVE it. It has been a blast so far. I will continue to work there until I leave for Dixie in August where I will finish my internship at a Pediactric office in St. George. Hopefully after I finish my last fourty hours or so they will have a part time job open there so i can continue to work for them. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Im working at the Lehi Outdoor Pool as a cashier. It's a nice little easy job to keep me busy, very busy. The people I work with are so funny and very entertaining.
I must admit, I was a little worried that after Austin left on his mission I wouldn't have a lot of friends to hang around but clearly I was wrong. Courtney and Caitlin are such amazing best friends. They have treated me so well and have helped me through so much. We get along so well and always have a good laugh. I have also been hanging around Zach, Kausha, Ciera, Kaity, Matt, Tanner, and John. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to get to know these incredible people better. They are so fun to be around and are such a good group of kids.
This has been one amazing summer so far. Lets keep it up kids. Summer 2011 :)

missionaries.

Missionaries are awesome. Austin left on his mission just four days ago and he seems to be staying busy and learning so much. I haven't got a personal letter from him yet but I've read the letters he sent to his family and he is doing great. It's strange not having him around anymore but I know that he is where he is supposed to be and I couldn't be more excited for him. He will be in the MTC for nine weeks then he heads off to the Washington D.C. North mission. This kid is such an amazing person and I have learned so much from him. He has such a strong testimony and I look up to him so much. Thank you Elder Gleed for all the many things you have done for me and for being a wonderful example. I love you.
